"I like nonsense; it wakes up the braincells." -- Dr. Seuss
Lalita Ballesteros (then known as Lauryn) began her career in NYC with NYT Times best-selling author and marketing expert Seth Godin. She worked directly alongside Seth for two years where she learned the intimate in's and out's of publishing, brand marketing, strategic partnerships, and the essence of generosity and art.
In six short months, they created six best-sellers and she single-handedly raised over a quarter-million dollars in sponsorships for their authors. Eager to apply her expertise to a larger audience, she branched off into consulting in 2012 where she worked 1:1 with start-up founders, best-selling authors, coaches, and entrepreneurs to bring their voice to the marketplace.
In 2015, Lalita founded Haus of Lala, an international agency dedicated to personal branding. Today, she acts as both Founder and Creative Director of Haus of Lala. She lives between Rome, NYC, and Toronto and incorporates her love for travel, high fashion, and unconventionalism in her work. Lalita has been seen on the stages of TEDx, twice, as well as Second City, Toronto. She's been featured in Fast Company, Huffington Post, Etsy, and a slew of others. Follow her personal work here.
